Smart idea. However, people wont recognize them for barter. I’ve been very surprised that silver hasn’t been minted in grams as is gold. Your points are all valid. I guess this is why junk silver has such a premium.

Europa bullion do 1/2 oz & 1/4oz silver coins i will get some going forward every few months to go with my usual 1oz silver and 1/4oz gold monthly purchases.very good video, when i came across fractional silver few weeks back i was thinking who would even buy it till i got to thinking about smaller silver for barter situtations.

Doubt anyone’s gonna recognize these as legit silver in a time of crisis. They’ll want food, water, meds, AMMO. Your best hope would be to barter with someone who’s knowledgeable of silver and its value, because 95%+ of the U.S. population doesn’t even recognize Merc dimes are silver, and worth more than a dime! These would be even worse for recognition! Hard pass for me. Not worth the premium. Other folks will like them, I’m sure.
